  • Goals: Get 250 new followers on social media/Instagram; get 1,000 views on my latest film on YouTube.

  • Objective: I aim to improve marketing based on what I have learned from this class.

  • Strategies: Search optimization (hashtags), paid advertising, and cross-promotion with other filmmakers.

  • Target audience: 18-30 year olds; an overall young demographic

  • Tactics:

    • Social media marketing: I will use TikTok and Instagram to reach my target audience. I will post every 1-3 days in the mornings, promoting my posts to reach strangers who aren’t already following my page.

    • Blogging: I will try to integrate a blog into my page, posting director notes and info about the cast/crew. I plan on blogging biweekly.

    • Podcasting: Interview fellow filmmakers/actors I’ve worked with or who make content similar to mine.

  • Graphic identity: I will include the logo I made for Rconproductions throughout, whether in the trailer or other material. 

    • The purple represents the spirit of creativity, and the yellow represents optimism and the bright themes of my projects. 

  • Digital advertisement: I will advertise by including relevant and popular hashtags in my posts.

  • Data visualization & photography: I will use posters of the film and production/BTS stills to help get the word out about my movies. 

  • Wearable technology: I will look into filming a short film that can be experienced in 360 degrees on a VR headset.

  • Return on investment: I will obtain 200 new followers across my social platforms and get 500 views on my latest film.
